Our verdict so far
YesPlay is a Cape Town-based bookmaker licensed by the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board. It is best known for Lucky Numbers, with draws from over 100 lotteries around the world, and it also offers sports betting, BetGames, slots and live casino-style games.
Its strongest points are practical ones: you can deposit from as little as R1 with a voucher (R20 with a card or Ozow), there are lots of voucher and cash options, and withdrawals of up to R1,000 are usually processed instantly, including cash at Standard Bank ATMs. The welcome bonus is a different story. Sports bets only count towards it at odds of 3.1 or higher, and slots count just 10%, which makes it hard to clear in 7 days. Sign up for YesPlay for the everyday experience, not the bonus.

Licence and safety
YesPlay is operated by SA Sportsbook (Pty) Ltd (registration number 2013/016123/07), trading as YesPlay since 2015, from 4 Bree Street in Cape Town. It holds a bookmaker licence from the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board, licence number 10180204-013, issued on 26 November 2025. YesPlay also publishes its approved payout limits: a maximum of R30 million in net winnings per customer per day, and up to R2 million per sports bet or Lucky Numbers bet. Only players aged 18 and over may play.
Signing up and FICA
Signing up takes a few minutes. Before your first withdrawal, you need to verify your cellphone number and add a bank account in your own name, which YesPlay verifies. Third-party bank accounts are not accepted, and YesPlay may ask for extra documents under FICA rules.

Deposits
YesPlay has the lowest minimum deposits of any site we review. According to YesPlay, you can deposit from R1 with 1Voucher, OTT Voucher, Blu Voucher, Kazang and aCoin, from R10 at Shoprite and Checkers (SCode), from R20 with cards, Ozow, Capitec Pay, Zapper, SnapScan and bank EFT, and from R100 with a cash deposit at an ABSA, Nedbank, Standard Bank or FNB ATM. Withdrawals
YesPlay offers two ways to cash out:
- EFT to your bank account: according to YesPlay, most withdrawals up to R1,000 are processed instantly, subject to internal checks. Larger withdrawals need approval and can take up to 2 hours.
- Instant Money (cash): you get a voucher number and PIN by SMS and can withdraw cash at a Standard Bank ATM or at stores such as Pick n Pay, Game, Spar and Makro. The default limit is R1,000, and you can ask support to raise it to R5,000.
The Instant Money option only becomes available once your bank account has been verified. YesPlay told us the minimum withdrawal is R50, and withdrawals are limited to R100,000 per day and R500,000 per month, which is plenty for most players. Player reviews are mostly positive about payout speed, but some complaints mention delayed withdrawals, usually tied to verification.
Welcome bonus and terms
New players get a 100% bonus on their first deposit after accepting the offer, up to R3,000. The key terms:
- Minimum deposit R20, maximum bonus R3,000
- Wagering is 7 times the deposit plus the bonus. Deposit R20 and get R20, and you need to wager R280
- You have 7 days after accepting the offer to meet the wagering
- Only bets placed with your bonus and deposit money count, not bets from your cash balance
- The most you can withdraw from bonus winnings is R30,000
- If the bonus expires, you only keep your remaining balance up to the amount you deposited

Our take: the 7x wagering sounds low, but the 3.1 minimum odds on sports means only fairly risky bets count, and casino-style games barely move the counter. Most players will find this bonus hard to clear in a week. Our betting bonuses guide shows how to work out whether a bonus is worth taking.
Other promotions
YesPlay runs a steady stream of promotions, many of them from game providers. When we checked in September 2026 they included prize-pool tournaments on Habanero slots and Evolution games, 15% weekend cashback on Skyward Deluxe, a Skyward Deluxe leaderboard and cash drops on Red Baron. Sports betting
YesPlay covers soccer, rugby, cricket, tennis, basketball and more, with both pre-match and live betting. The sportsbook is simple to use: you can filter by upcoming time window (1, 3 or 12 hours) or by league, and popular matches show 1X2, totals and handicap odds side by side.

Lucky Numbers, BetGames and casino-style games
Lucky Numbers is YesPlay’s specialty. You bet on the results of more than 100 lottery draws from around the world, such as Ireland’s Daily Million, Brazil’s Mega-Sena and Quina, and draws from Romania and Bulgaria. You pick how many numbers you think will come up, and the fewer balls a draw has, the lower the odds.
For example, when we checked, picking 2 correct balls on Mega-Sena 6/60 paid 101.00 and 3 balls paid 1,001.00, while an easier draw like Easy Lotto 15/25 paid just 2.70 and 4.50. Draws are grouped into Popular, Regular and Rapid, with rapid draws running every few minutes. Rapid draws are fast and easy to over-play, so set a budget first.
Beyond Lucky Numbers, YesPlay offers BetGames (live-drawn games such as Wheel of Fortune and poker variants), slots from providers like Habanero, Red Tiger, NetEnt and Pragmatic Play, and live games from Evolution and Ezugi. Mobile
YesPlay has apps for both platforms. On Android, you download the APK file from the Mobile Application page on yesplay.bet. On iPhone and iPad, you install the official YesPlay app from the Apple App Store. The app sends push notifications about bonuses and new games, which you can switch off if you prefer fewer prompts. The website also works well in any mobile browser.

Responsible gambling
